Bin

Bin

Race:
Human
Class:
Cleric
Description:
Standing at around six foot even the human would have long brown hair that would fall to about his shoulders, sometimes up in a pony tail and others just let to be loose when he was trying to relax. Blue eyes would peer out of his hair to watch a random woman move about her business getting a good look at her, little grin spread across his features. He would roll a coin along his knuckles slowly just kind of spacing out and watching the women move by him, his olive looking skin and his weathered look put him as a man of the sea.
cont.
He was in a pair of black pants with a couple of cargo pockets in it to give him a place to put a few tools, white poets shirt for a top, black sailors boots upon his feet. He wasn't built really tough as he was a little skinny, but he definitely looked as if he could hold himself in a fight in his own way. Holy symbol strapped around his neck to Sebanine, Goddess of Freedom and he upheld that ideal by being free to be part of the sea.

History:
After the events that transpired in the former "Sea of Dust", Bin appealed to Kaithra about joining his crew. Adventure with promises of reward, made proverbial gold coins appear in Bin's eyes. Since the ship would be on the move more often than not, this would allow him to "rescue a fair many damsels in distress." For they would be out if Dis-Dress once they met him. He was signed on an a position which would have been called "Ships Chaplain" given any other sort of vessel. After many slaps to the face upon returning to a township he had left some months before by his wives-for-the-week; Bin began to rethink he life.
cont.
Did he truly wish to sail the sea's for the rest of his life, accumulating large sums of money with not to show for it except fancy clothing and shiney objects? He decided he wanted more… His womanizing cut back drastically, he began sharing his coinage…He grew up at long last. On another Rhenne ship, he met a woman, tall of stature, fine of features, red haired and green eyed. He could not let this one go un-courted… Her attitude, proved as firey as her hair, and this one, unlike all the others… was a grand pursuit for Bin. Eventually she fell for his charm and the true courtship began. They were married by Kaithra, Captain of the ship some year and 3 months after meeting. Bin and Mirina have been inseperable ever since.
cont.
In the years since their marriage, Bin has calmed even more, still a greedy, covetous, lecherous bastard. But a faithful and carring greedy, covetous, lecherous bastard he remains. When they learned they were to be blessed by a child, Bin threw a party for the crew with his own coin at the nearest tavern lasting well into the night and partially into the next day. On the day of his childs birth, Bin was granted entry to the birthing chamber to the sound of a baby girl shrieking her indignance to the skies. Looking down at the small, trembling creature in his arms, he instantly felt at home. He was now complete. Then came the naming…
cont.
Bin through some trick of the mind, recalled a name from his mostly-forgotten childhood "Dib". He did not know whom this name had belonged to, only that it had been someone he loved dearly as a child. Mirina would not hear of it stating matter-of-factly and with a stoney face "I am never calling her that.", and suggested the name "Keyleth" the name of her grandmother. The name stuck, but Bin always called the child Dib as a nickname of sorts. When Keyleth left the ship, to answer the call of Melora…Bin understood the calling of a deity, and let her go, holding his beloved's hand as they watched her sail towards shore in a dingy.
cont.
When she returned some years later, Bin was not at home, but had set off for the mainland with Kaithra and a small group of outsiders her mother had never seen before. When word reach Keyleth about Milinia being on the mainland and possibly, in danger, she kiss her mother's cheek goodbye and made for the Ninter Vale with as much haste as she could… Little did she know that Milinia had been getting along just fine without her…or what the adventure of her father would entail…
